A Visit to The Horse and Donkey Trust  While here you will meet a wonderful horse by the name of Wasadu pictured below with Ebrima.  Wasadu survived a horrific landmine injury near Casamance in Senegal, in which the cart that he was pulling was blown up, killing his owner and two children. This invaluable charity has treated Wasadu and others with expertise of the medical professionals who volunteer their time and knowledge, using the equipment kindly donated. This is a not for profit trip with 80% of proceeds after covering travel costs going to the Horse and Donkey Trust.  This trust helped with the veterinary care for Ebrima's horse Lightening who sadly died in 2016 and offers an invaluable support to owners of working donkeys and horses, educating and assisting both local people and schools and colleges.  Cost 2000/£30 per person. Here is a picture of Wasadu.  The Trust is always looking for volunteers and donations in all equestrian disciplines.  Please get in touch with them here for more information.
